The Hotel
Hotel Saydo Park is a family run business, first built by the current owner, Fernando Ortega Castro, in 1984. Initially the hotel was only open at weekends. The Spanish for Saturday and Sunday are Sábado y Domingo, which was shortened to Saydo, hence the Hotel’s name.
Nowadays the hotel is open all year round and provides a great holiday location for walkers and cyclists as well as a great place for meet ups and parties for the residents of the residential park just behind it. There is an entertainment room for the regular parties and shows plus a great restaurant and bar providing snacks and meals offering both Spanish and English cuisine.

The Residential Park
The residential park, which is open all year round, has been designed for people to either retire to the sunshine or use as a low maintenance holiday home. Set in beautiful grounds, the park offers a great way to spend your time with 2 swimming pools, one heated inside pool for the winter month. The outside pool and bar area are open from June to September and offer a relaxing area for swimming and socialising, with outdoor entertainment regularly on offer.

Events and More
There is a bowling green and team who regularly play, successfully, against teams across the Costa del Sol. Membership allows residents access to the green either as part of the team or just for fun.
Weekly quiz and bingo nights provide regular entertainment as well as monthly mystery trips, pool and dart teams, a well-stocked library and art club are all available on site as well as various other activities available in the local areas.

Transport
While it is advisable to have your own transport, there is a weekly courtesy bus for residents to the local town of Antequera. There is a train station which will take you to Malaga direct or indeed anywhere in Spain. There are also bus stops directly outside the hotel for local destinations, or further afield.
