About Saydo Parks
Saydo Park is set in the beautiful inland Andalucia countryside surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Based in the village of Mollina, Antequera, the Park has been a legal residential park since 1984 and offers beautiful pre-loved static caravan homes ideal as permanent or holiday homes.
Hotel Saydo Park is a family run business, first built by the current owner, Fernando Ortega Castro, in 1984. Initially the hotel was only open at weekends, the Spanish for Saturday and Sunday are Sabado y Domingo, which was shortened to Saydo, hence the Hotel name.
The hotel is open all year round, providing a great holiday location for walkers and cyclists as well as a great place for meet ups. Featuring a large entertainment room which is perfect for the regular parties and shows plus a bar providing snacks.
Events and More
We have a bowling green and team who regularly play, successfully, against teams across the Costa del Sol. Membership allows residents access to the green either as part of the team or just for fun.
Weekly quiz (Thursday’s) and bingo (Friday) nights provide regular entertainment as well as monthly mystery trips, Saydo also has its own pool and dart teams. The local Art Club meets at the hotel once a week and there are keep fit classes twice a week and a well-stocked library on site.
There is an onsite British Mini Mart, open 7 days a week which sells all your favourite food from home at very reasonable prices.
Saydo Park & Hotel are both wheelchair/disabled friendly with good access to all amenities.
While it is advisable to have your own transport, there is a bus stop directly outside the hotel for local destinations, or further afield. There is a train station which will take you to Malaga direct or indeed anywhere in Spain.
There are plenty of villages local to Saydo, all of which offer their unique personalities and provide visitors with plenty of bars, restaurants and places of interest to visit. The largest local shopping town is Antequera renowned for its many beautiful churches and culture. Alongside bars and restaurants there are large supermarkets including Carrefour, Mercadona and Aldi.
While the area offers a wide variety of activities, for something different the beaches of the Costa del Sol are just a 50-minute drive away so day trips to the beach are easy.
